Water Removal

We begin water damage restoration by removing the water with high-powered pumps, either portable or mounted on a truck, depending on the scope of the job.

After we've pumped the water out, we begin the drying process. We seal the affected areas from the outside air. Then we'll use high-powered air movers and dehumidifiers. We ask that you not move these or turn them off. Our technicians will regularly read the temperature, relative and specific humidity and moisture content.

We handle structural drying—walls, floors and ceilings—as well as drying carpets and furniture. We work fast, so there's usually no need for structural repairs.

Mold, Mildew Mitigation and Remediation

When an area has been exposed to water or high moisture levels, the growth of mold, mildew is a potential hazard. The IICRC and EPA have specific guidelines for treating visible mold damage.

We detail clean the affected area using special portable vacuum cleaners with HEPA filters. We use air scrubbers to filter mold, dust and other contaminants from the air and recirculate clean air. Then we dry the area out. Powerful fans called air movers redirect moisture into the air, where it is pulled into a dehumidifier. Instruments monitor humidity readings daily.

We use 100-percent green disinfectant to check the growth of harmful mold, suppress mildew and eliminate any odor. Our state-of-the art equipment can inject fungicides and deodorizers into walls and hard-to-reach areas.
